It’s hard to believe that in just 5 short weeks, we’ll be watching our first couple get married at The Roosevelt. Amy and Michael have poured their hearts and souls into this building to create a place unlike anything else in the Kansas City area. I think their goal has been accomplished – and they’re not even finished yet!
Here are some recent photos of the progress:
Yesterday, the HVAC team installed the fabric duct socks and I was happy to learn that because the entire duct acts as a diffuser, it provides a much more efficient and even distribution of air. The fabric ducts are also easy to remove and clean, unlike metal ductwork. And last but not least, they are quiet!
Mickey and his crew have been putting in long hours, painting and staining as quickly as possible. They know how anxious we are to move in! We put the Groom’s Cabin on hold until we have drier weather, but it’s coming along great! And although we may have lost some of the grass seed with the recent storms, we’re turning our focus to the landscaping this week and will start working on the ceremony site and flower beds around the building. Check out the flowers coming up around The Lodge below!
